Strong National Museum of Play

If you are visiting in the Rochester, New York area and have children, you should visit the Strong National Museum of Play. This museum is one of the top museums in the country for families and children. They have exhibits that everyone will enjoy, and if you have young children this is the perfect place because they have many hands-on exhibits just for them. At the Strong National Museum of Play you will find exhibits featuring The Berenstain Bears, Seasame Street, a Butterfly exhibit and a Lego Castle.The museum also houses the National Toy Hall of Fame and the National Center for History of Electronic Games. Highland Park

If you're looking for a place to take your family that is fun, as well as inexpensive, then you must visit Highland Park. This park is located on 155 acres and is beautifully landscaped with thousands of flowers, shrubs and other plant life. You will also find a large variety of trees throughout the park. Bring your family here to play a little frisbee, play catch or just simply to relax and have a nice picnic. There are ample walking paths throughout the park, so feel free to bring the family dog as well.
