RV Parks Near Kings Dominion in Virginia

RV Parks Near Kings Dominion in Virginia
Located a short distance from I-95 about midway between Washington, D.C. and Richmond, Virginia, Kings Dominion is a conveniently placed amusement park, especially for anyone driving an RV. RV campers will find that, sitting as it does on the corridor marched over repeatedly by Union and Confederate armies during the Civil War, the immediate area around Kings Dominion is home to a large number of well-preserved battlefield sites. There are also other outdoor attractions nearby, such as Lake Anna State Park. That combination of attractions makes a Kings Dominion-area RV park a good choice for a family camping trip.

Kings Dominion Campground
