St. Louis, Missouri, is known as the gateway to the West. The famous Gateway Arch represents the pioneers and wagon trains of old, as they made there way into the unknown West. Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Resort offers RV sites for most size RVs. Sites come with 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Pets are allowed but must be leashed in the campground and cannot be left unattended or in parked cars. The resort grounds have showers, bathrooms, playgrounds, arcade and game room, swimming pool, laundry room, showers and bathrooms for guest use. Picnic an cookout stations are available for guest use. The Saint Louis Science Center and Saint Louis Zoo are within 30 minutes drive from the resort for those seeking a mix or urban attraction and nature activity.

St. Louis West KOA

The St. Louis West KOA is near historic Route 66 and offers a range of amenities and services to RV travelers. The KOA has bathrooms, showers, picnic areas and barbecue stations, a guest room with kitchen, playground, laundry, bathrooms and hot showers for guest use. Pets are allowed if leashed. Members of AAA and Good Sam are eligible for discounts on their stays. Hookups for RV sites include water sewer, cable TV and 30- or 50-amp electric. There is Wi-Fi on the premises for guest use. For those wishing to get on the Missouri River, there are paddleboat tours that can be booked in the city near the waterfront. The trails along the river offer hikers, runners and bicyclists opportunities to ply their sports.

Located in downtown St. Louis, the St. Louis RV Park bills itself as an "urban campground." The RV park has sites for most size RVs.
