KOA Texarkana

KOA Texarkana is ideally situated in central Texarkana, just off Interstate 30 and Highway 71. The park has 60 sites, many of which are set up for extended stays. All 60 sites have full hookups. Electrical is available at 30 and 50 amps, although 50 amps requires an additional fee. In addition, the park has 22 pull-throughs, dump station, laundry facilities and a convenience store. Recreational facilities at the park include a swimming pool, pond fishing and hiking trails. Also, Spring Lake Park is just under 2 miles away and offers more walking paths and an outdoor swimming pool. KOA Texarkana is open year-round. Both pets and big rigs are welcome there.

Clear Springs Recreation Area

Clear Springs Recreation Area is located at Wright Patnam Lake. The park has 101 sites. Of the 101 sites, 100 have water and electrical hookups (30 amps) while one has no hookup. The maximum RV length allowable at Clear Springs is 32 feet. Other facilities at Clear Springs include two pull-throughs, a dump station and grills. There is a boat ramp nearby for boating and lake fishing. You can also swim at Wight Patnam Lake. In addition, the park is an excellent spot for bird-watchers, particularly in the winter when you can spot migrating bald eagles. Clear Springs Recreational Area is open year-round.

Shady Pines RV Park

Shady Pines RV Park is located at the junction of Interstate 30 and Highway 59. The park has 48 sites, many of which are set up for extended stays. All 48 sites have full hookups with electrical at 30 and 50 amps. However, the 50-amps option requires an additional fee. In addition you will find 18 pull-throughs, laundry facilities and propane gas. There is also Wi-Fi Internet access and phone access. The RV park is located next to a private lake. Fishing is available at the lake with no license required. The lake is stocked with bass, catfish and crappie. Shady Pines RV Park is open year-round. Both big rigs and pets are welcome at this RV park.
