Ski Cabins in Red River, New Mexico
The former Red River mining town is home to the Red River Ski Resort, a family friendly, "old-school" resort that appeals to New Mexico locals and skiing purists. The Carson National Forest surrounds the resort, which is located in the Sangre de Cristo Range. Most of the local lodging venues are either within walking distance of the lifts, or a quick shuttle ride away.

Rio Colorado Cabins

The Rio Colorado Cabins are located off Main Street, on the east end of the town of Red River, New Mexico. The one, two and three bedroom cabins are situated on the banks of the Red River, and feature kitchenettes and fireplaces. You can walk to the ski area, or take the free shuttle bus.

Three Bears Lodge

The Three Bears Lodge is located in the center of town. It is within walking distance of the Copper Chair lift at the Red River Resort. The Copper lift services all of Red River's terrain. There's an easy route down from the top, so mixed-level groups can meet at the top of the lift and ski down to their cabin at the end of the day. There are eight two-bedroom cabins with a shared bath and a fully-equipped kitchen. The Three Bears Lodge also offers one three-bedroom cabin and two smaller efficiency units that sleep two people.

Riverside Lodge and Cabins

The Riverside Lodge is also located close to the Copper chairlift. In addition to the rooms offered at the main lodge, they have 30 cabins, which offer one to three bedrooms with full kitchens and television sets. Some units have fireplaces and dishwashers.
