Just south of Portland in Wilsonville, Oregon, is the 45-acre Pheasant Ridge RV Resort that has 130 sites with full hookups. This resort offers an indoor pool and spa, laundry facilities, grocery store and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the resort. A short, less than 1 mile, hiking trail on the property will take you through the wooded area of the park where wildlife can easily be seen. This park was rated as one of the best RV parks in the nation by the Trailer Life Directory in 2008.

Premier RV Resort - Salem

Located in the capital of Oregon and on the Willamette River, the Premier RV Resort is part of five Premier Resorts in the northwest. There are 180 sites with full hookups with accommodations that include a grocery store, outdoor swimming pool, complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access and even a concierge service. A half-mile east of the park is the Holman State Park that offers 12 miles of trails for hikers, runners and mountain bikers.

Knox Butte RV Park

In the historic town of Albany, Oregon, is the Knox Butte RV Park that has 66 full hookup sites. The park is located just off of Interstate 5, and the amenities include laundry facilities, showers, supply store and complimentary Wi-Fi. Tent camping is also welcome here. The Willamette River runs through Albany and provides the backdrop for hiking, fishing and boating. For an awesome 14-mile canoeing experience try the Albany to Buena Vista Canoe Trail that lets in at the Luckiamute Landing.

River Bend Resort

Two miles west of Interstate 5, in the small town of Harrisburg, Oregon is the River Bend Resort that includes 95 RV sites including 12 pull-through sites. Amenities include full hook-ups at every site, complementary Wi-Fi, continental breakfast, and include laundry facilities, an outdoor pool, and a hot tub. This resort is a step above the typical RV Park because it is part of a bigger system that includes a hotel, restaurant and massage spa. (REFERENCE 4) The Willamette River runs through Harrisburg and adjacent the resort. The Willamette River canoe trail from Harrisburg to Peoria is a fast 20 mile trip for the moderately experienced canoeist.
