Campgrounds near Iron River, Michigan
Iron River, Michigan is located on the western end of the Upper Peninsula, just five miles north of the Wisconsin state line. Campers will have access to many recreational opportunities which include fishing in the Iron River and hiking in the Ottawa National Forest bordering the western edge of town.

Iron River RV Park

Iron River RV Park is located on the river in downtown Iron River and adjacent to the shopping district. Visitors will have access to restaurants, shopping and entertainment all within a four block walk of the park. It offers 32 sites that include electric and water hookups and 17 of which also have sewer hook-up. Sites feature paved pads, a grass yard area and modern restrooms with private showers as well as a dump station and RV washing station. The park has waterfront sites available as well as a boat launch area that is used for canoes. Guests can launch their canoe and access quality fishing on the Iron River as well as get a scenic view of town. Iron River RV Park is also on the Stateline Trail which is a multi-use trail that runs over 100 miles and is open to hiking, biking and snowmobiling.

Wild River Motel & RV Park

Wild River RV Park is located a half mile east of downtown Iron River. It offers four modern RV sites that include water and electric and six rustic sites which all include a picnic table and fire ring. There RV park has a modern restroom facility with private showers as well as a picnic area with charcoal grills. The Wild River RV Park is conveniently located just a thousand feet from the Iron River where visitors have access to quality fishing. It is also just a thousand feet from the Stateline hiking trail.

Bewabic State Park

Bewabic State Park is located 10 miles east of Iron River in Crystal Falls, Michigan. It offer 137 campsites that include electric, a picnic table and a fire ring as well as wooded buffer between most sites for privacy. Facility amenities include modern restrooms, two playgrounds and several picnic areas as well as a dump station for RV's. The campground is just a few hundred feet walk from Fortuna Lake which offers guests access to swimming and fishing. Bewabic State Park has a two mile hiking trail hat runs through the forest and lake shore offering many wildlife viewing opportunities.
