This is another RV park that offers primarily long term camping, but there are several pull-through and back-in RV sites available for short term campers. The natural surroundings make Fire Lake Camper Park ideal as a base for outdoor activities in the area such as boating, fishing, golfing and hiking. Campers have access to basic laundry facilities, but there are few additional amenities here.

Cactus Flats Campground
Another option is the Cactus Flats Campground, located approximately 30 minutes by car to the east of central Bowling Green. This campground sits on a quiet country road in a tranquil setting. The location puts you reasonably close to urban attractions but far from the noise and traffic. The Cactus Flats Campground offers RV sites with electric and water hook ups as well as tent sites. Other facilities include a dump site, camp store, playground, swimming pool, horseshoe pits, volleyball and basketball courts, hiking trails and a stocked pond for fishing. Each camp site comes equipped with a fire pit and picnic table. Cactus Flats welcomes both nightly and seasonal campers.
