The Auld Dubliner
The Auld Dubliner is an Irish pub to the bone. Literally. All of the interior was specially hand crafted in Dublin, and only the finest materials from Ireland were used to build this restaurant and pub. The drink menu is equally impressive--Irish whiskey, draft beers and many specialty drinks like Irish coffee. They also serve traditional Irish food, such as corned beef and cabbage served with boiled red potatoes and topped with an Irish creme sauce, or baked shepherd's pie chock-full of lamb, ground beef, and vegetables like carrots and leeks. Another added touch is the live music played every Thursday, Friday and Saturday by local and touring Irish bands. Lis Doon Varna, built in Ireland and shipped out to Peoria, carries on traditions from the small town it was named after--from a matchmaking bar to live music.
