Sennebec Lake Campground bills itself as "On a lake, in the mountains, and near the sea." This means visitors have access to the nearby hiking trails in the hills, and canoeing or kayaking on the campground's lake. For saltwater recreation, Penobscot and Rockport Bays are just a few minutes from the campground and there visitors can kayak, fish, swim, and whale watch. There are sewer, water and 30- or 50-amp electric hookups at RV sites. Options for cable TV and Wi-Fi are available. RVs of most sizes are handled with aplomb as there are pull-through and back-in sites. Pets area allowed if leashed. Guests may use the bathrooms and hot showers at the RV park. Visitors can take sailing charters or whale watching boat trips out of the nearby harbor, or drop their sea kayaks into the water and paddle the shore looking for whales, seals, and sea birds.
