Mesa Grill
The Flatiron District in Manhattan is home to Mesa Grill, celebrity chef Bobby Flay's first foray into the restaurant world. Opened in 1991, Mesa Grill has received rave reviews ever since. Most customers come for a taste of Flay's creations. Sample dishes include mango and spice crusted tuna steak with green peppercorn chile sauce and cornmeal crusted chile relleno with roasted eggplant and manchego cheese. Rosa Mexicano offers traditional and unique Mexican food in a vibrant environment. The Flatiron restaurant (there are three New York City locations) boasts an electric-blue tiled water wall as well as traditional Mexican figurines and hand-crafts.
