Yankee Springs Gun Lake
Yankee Springs Gun Lake is a state park that attracts tens of thousands of visitors throughout the year. The site has 200 sites on its 5200 acres, and is quite family-friendly. Visitors can relax on the shores of Yankee Springs Gun Lake, take advantage of the boat launch to go on a fishing or boating expedition, or simply relax in the peaceful campsites. You'd be remiss to not check out the Devil's Soupbowl, a geologic anomaly that has hiking trails to the top.

Yankee Springs Deep Lake
Yankee Springs Deep Lake, unlike its more modern cousin, Yankee Springs Gun Lake, is a rustic and primitive campground for hearty hikers. The campground has 120 tent sites with flat pads, privies (no indoor plumbing), and nature trails around Deep Lake. Campers should prepare to bring all that's necessary into the camp, and pack out all garbage (practice Leave No Trace). Graves Hill Overlook is nearby, and can be a great spot for sunset/sunrise.
