Maryhill State Park
Maryhill State Park, a Washington park, is a great place for an afternoon or for a multinight visit. The RV park on site includes more than 50 sites for big rigs and RVs, hookups for water, a dumping station for RVs, and many tent sites for the more primitive campers. Visitors can check out the scenic Columbia River (and gaze across at Oregon) or explore the park's many hiking and nature trails, all of which include large swaths of greenery and coniferous forests.

Sunset RV Park
Sunset RV Park, located in Goldendale, WA, is a short drive from Maryhill. This site includes all that an RV camper could ask for: hookups for water and sewer, large sites for pull-through RVers, and easy access to laundry and bathroom facilities. To get away from it all, make sure to visit Brooks Memorial State Park or hike to the top of Lorena Butte. This site caters to primitive tenters, too, but RVers will find plenty of space to spread out.

Cottonwood RV Park
Cottonwood RV Park, also located next to Maryhill State Park, is another relatively small RV park that offers bare-bones services to its residents. There are some pull-through sites on the premises, but most of the sites are rather primitive and only provide running water for hookup. Make sure to get out of Dodge while at Cottonwood and explore Gifford Pinchot National Forest--a massive recreation area busting at the seams with trails, lakes, creeks, and friendly Rangers.
