Yamhill, Oregon, RV Resorts

Yamhill, Oregon, RV Resorts
Yamhill, Oregon, is a sleepy commuting suburb nestled between the large city of Portland and the scenic Oregon Coast. This town has plenty of dining locations, shopping sites, and cultural activities, but you'd be remiss to not explore the wild and often beautiful landscapes blanketing the area. RV camping in the Yamhill area is plentiful.

Pheasant Ridge RV Resort

Pheasant Ridge RV Resort is located in Wilsonville, just a short drive from Yamhill. This RV site provides campers with more than 100 RV sites, many of which are pull-through capable, complete hookup service for electricity, sewer, and water, more than 40 acres of shady, wooded greenery, and wireless Internet service. Additionally, the site has an indoor pool, a snack bar, and full laundry services. Make sure to leave the site for a day or so and explore Carlton Lake Wildlife Refuge, where you can find trails and birding opportunities.

Portland Dayton RV Park

The Portland Dayton RV Park is located in the small town of Dayton, just a short distance from Yamhill. This site provides RVers with a no-nonsense approach to RV sites--clean, paved lots, hook-ups for water and electricity, and competitive rates. What the RV park itself lacks in greenery is more than made up for by the expansive stretches of Oregon land right outside the boundaries of the park. Make sure to explore and hike a portion of the Yamhill Riverm which runs right next door to the RV park.

Flying M Ranch

The Flying M Ranch, located right in Yamhill proper, is a more primitive site for those who love getting back to nature. The many sites available at Flying M provide minimalist campers with fire pits, picnic tables, and for a lucky few, creekside plots. RVers will find plenty of space to park and arrange their expandable walls, but no hookups are provided. You'll need to pack in and pack out all garbage (Leave No Trace). Both on and around your site you'll be able to explore the forest and creeks crisscrossing the park.
