RV Parks Near Groves, Texas
Groves, Texas, is a small city located some 50 miles east of Houston, just off the Gulf Coast. This site is often a common stopover for folks headed to Gulf Coast beaches or the sunny resorts in Galveston. This area isn't just bright sun and sandy beaches, though; there are ample opportunities to strap on your backpack and get your boots muddy, including Big Thicket National Preserve and Texas Point National Wildlife Refuge. There are several RV parks in and around Groves for visitors to the area.

Groves RV Park and Mobile Village

Groves RV Park, located right in the center of town, is a rather diminutive RV park that has 46 spaces for RVs and pop-up campers. All sites include paved entrances and exits, and come with electric hookups of 30 or 50 amps. The site is a bit primitive, but you can find a grassy area with benches and BBQ pits for lunching. While the site does cater to traveling oil men and women, you can get away from the petrol and pavement by taking a short trip down to Groves City Park, where you can walk the nature trails, or take a trip to Texas Point National Wildlife Refuge, less than 20 miles away on the coast.
