The Dallas Metro KOA is home to 170 full-hookup sites that offer 30- and 50-amp electric connections. There are 50 pull-through sites and room for slideouts. You'll find restrooms, laundry facilities, a library where you can rent videos and a store for both groceries and RV supplies at this Dallas/Fort Worth area RV resort. You can take a dip in the swimming pool any time between the middle of May and the first of October. The kids have a playground, and there is also a rec room. You can rent a bike for an additional charge, or if you have one of your own you can head over to Fort Worth and take advantage of the 28.2-mile-long Trinity River Trails Ramble.

Lakeview RV and Mobile Home Park

Lakeview RV and Mobile Home Park hosts 109 full-hookup sites with 30- and 50-amp electricity, five pull-through slots and room for slideouts. Facilities include a large laundry, a self-serve RV washing site, bathrooms and showers. The swimming pool is surrounded by a large patio area. Several sites offer views of Lake Arlington, and you can head directly to the lake to cast a line for catfish and bass. Just a few miles away from the RV park is the 5.46-mile-long River Legacy Trail for hiking and biking.

MD Resort and Bed and Breakfast

MD Resort is about a half hour northwest of downtown Fort Worth and is home to full-hookup sites with 30- and 50-amp electricity. The MD Resort is an actual working ranch, which means activities like hay rides and horseback riding. The 37 acres of land also provides generous opportunities for nature walks and picnics. You can even get romantic by taking advantage of the horse-drawn carriage ride. Recreation at this Fort Worth/Dallas RV resort includes badminton and volleyball and horseshoes. Inside activities range from pool to karaoke. If you pull a muscle while engaging in these activities you can even get a massage without leaving the property. As long as no private party is going on you can take advantage of the swimming pool.
