San Francisco Area RV Parks

San Francisco Area RV Parks
With such limited parking inside the city, RV Parks are largely non-existent within San Francisco itself. Fortunately, just outside the San Francisco city limits are a few RV parks for those who wish to take their trailers or campers to visit the famed tourist spot and enjoy its beaches, parks and historical attractions.

Candlestick RV Park

This is the only RV resort located within the actual city limits. Even so, Candlestick Park and its next door RV park is still far away from the majority of San Francisco attractions. Luckily, visitors can always take advantage of the shuttles and public transportation that can take them to the heart of the city without the need of a car. This park is also in an ideal location for 49ers fans to stay and tailgate, as it sits right outside the football stadium of San Francisco.
The park features 165 RV hookups, 24 tent sites, picnic tables, showers, and a laundrymat. If you need propane, you can purchase it from the general store on the premesis. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park and guests are also invited to use the commons room to enjoy its big screen television and videogames.

San Francisco RV Resort

This RV resort is located just south of San Francisco in a small beach town called Pacifica. This is one of the only parks that offers views of the beach from the grounds and some of the parks 182 spaces are actually located right on the coastline.
Guests are welcome to bring their four-legged friends along, where they can enjoy the park's dog run. For human visitors, there are a number of great amenities, such as a hot tub, swimming pool, showers, cable TV, a playground and a game arcade. Wi-Fi is available and propane can be purchased in the park grocery store. A laundry mat and showers are also available.

Treasure Island RV Park

This RV park is not, as one may assume, located on the famed Treasure Island located between Oakland and San Francisco, but rather in South San Francisco, only 15 minutes away from Downtown San Francisco. Like the island it is named for, this RV park is beautiful and pristine.
Long-term and short-term visitors are both welcome. Guests are invited to use the park's playground, laundrymats, showers and picnic areas.
