Kissimmee/Orlando KOA

The Kissimmee/Orlando KOA is located approximately 10 miles from Orlando in the town of Kissimmee. The resort offers 96 campsites, with some large enough to accommodate pull-throughs. Tent sites are also available. The maximum length of RVs accommodated is 120 feet. Sites include 50-amp service, water, wireless Internet, picnic table and cable TV for a small fee. The resort has a playground, bathhouses, pool, spa, and a dump station, camp store and laundry facility, with LP gas offered. Pets are accepted, and there is a dog-walk area. The resort is approximately 1 mile from Lake Tohopekaliga, where boaters can use the public launches and fish. Gatorland is approximately 6 miles from the resort, offering guests a chance to view alligators and take a leisurely nature walk through the 110-acre attraction.

Lost Lake RV Park

Lost Lake RV Park is located in Apopka, which is approximately 15 miles from Orlando. The park offers 61 campsites with 30-amp electric, sewer, water, paved pad, Wi-Fi and picnic table. Sites are shaded, with some large enough to accommodate large rigs and pull-throughs. The park has a camping store, bathhouse, laundry facility, pool, basketball court and horseshoe pits. Lost Lake RV Park is located approximately 1 mile from Lake Lenore, offering opportunities for boating and freshwater fishing. The West Orange Trail is adjacent to the park and offers 19 miles of paved hiking, biking and equestrian trails, with five trailheads along the route with non-paved, wooded trails venturing into the area.

Wekiwa Springs State Park

Located in Apopka, Wekiwa Springs State Park sits on the banks of the Wekiva River and offers 60 campsites in the heavily wooded campground. Campsites include water, electricity, a fire ring and picnic table. Some sites will accommodate pull-throughs and large rigs, with the maximum length of RVs 50 feet. The campground has a concession stand, bathrooms and showers, picnic area and playground. Outdoor enthusiasts can swim or snorkel in the spring. The park rents canoes and canoeists can venture down the Wekiva River that has several canoe campsites on the river, or canoe Rock Springs Run. Hikers will appreciate the 1/8-mile boardwalk, as well as the 13 miles of trails within the park offering opportunities to view black bears, deer and alligators. The park is located approximately 20 miles from Orlando.
