Lakeside RV Park
Located 4 1/2 miles east of Opelika, Alabama, Lakeside RV Park offers its campers a convenient location to explore the area's attractions. Chewacla State Park
Occupying 696 scenic acres, Chewacla State Park features a 26-acre lake for fishing, swimming and kayaking, 30-foot Chewacla Dam Waterfall as well as trails for hiking, biking and tree identification. Six stone cottages are available for rental year-round. The park also offers 36 full-hookup RV sites, as well as 15 primitive sites for tent camping. Campground facilities include restrooms with showers and a dump station.

Spring Villa Park
Situated 6miles southeast of Opelika, Spring Villa Park is located just across the street from the Penn Younge house (Spring Villa) built in 1850 as the Younge family resort. The U.S. Department of Interior placed Spring Villa on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The 325-acre park features 24 RV sites with electrical hookups, a picnic shelter, spring-fed swimming pool, outdoor volleyball court, horseshoe pit and walking trails. The campground area has restrooms and a dump station.
