Drivers heading to Farmington, New Mexico, have a small group of RV parks from which to choose. When not setting up base camp, outdoor lovers will find numerous activities to keep themselves satisfied in the area. Favorite places to explore in the area include Chaco Culture National Historical Park and the ruins of the ancient Pueblo people, boating on Navajo Lake, backpacking in Carson National Forest, and cave art in Canyon de Chelly National Monument.

Mom and Pop's RV Park

Take a break from the long drive while staying at Mom and Pop's RV Park. Thirty-six asphalt sites are available with spaces for pull-through and big rigs. Hookups include 30-amp electric, water and sewer. The park has free Wi-Fi, a dump station, bathrooms, showers and a recreation room with a pool table. Please note that credit cards are not accepted and guests who pay for three nights receive a fourth night free.

Dad's RV Park

Prepare for exploration of the countryside while staying at Dad's RV Park. Guests will discover 15 sites with space for pull-through, camper and motor homes. Hookups include 30- and 50-amp electric, water and sewer. Dad's RV Park also has cable television connections, a laundry facility, bathrooms, showers and picnic tables. Pets are welcome.

Downs RV Park

The park also has a recreation hall, showers, a dump station, a laundry facility, LP gas and a laundry room. Pets are welcome.
