Drivers have a handful of RV Parks to choose from when traveling through Calhoun County, Alabama. This area of the state is home to many points of interest for the outdoor enthusiast including fishing in Choccolocco Lake, golfing at the Indian Oaks Country Club and miles of hiking, backpacking and cycling trails in Talladega National Forest.

Country Court RV Park

The Country Court RV Park can be found in southern Calhoun County in the town of Anniston. Seventy-two RV sites are offered for Fifth wheel, pull-through and big rigs. Sixty-five of the sites include 30- or 50-amp electrical, water and sewer hookups. The park also has free Wi-Fi, cable TV access, a small convenience store and dog run. This park is an ideal base for excursions into the central portion of the Talladega National Forest, which includes the Pinhoti Trails System. Also worth seeing is the Anniston Museum of Natural History.

Coosa Willow Point

Coosa Willow Point is located in southeastern Calhoun County in the town of Ohatchee. Campers choose between 72 sites designed for big-rig RVs. Hookups include 50-amp electric. The campground has bathrooms, showers, a dump station, convenience store and LP gas. Coosa Willow Point is 3 miles east of Neely Henry Lake, popular with local fisherman and walkers.

Bows Family RV Park

Bows Family RV Park is located in southern Calhoun County in Eastaboga. Nine sites designed for big-rig RVs are available. Hookups include electric and water. Guests must haul their own sewage. The park has a swimming pool, basketball court and dump station. Outdoor lovers will find this park is close to Mount Cheaha, the highest point in the state and a part of Cheaha State Park.
