Pirolli Park Campground
Pirolli Park is a full-service campground that offers accommodations to all campers. Tenters, RVers and those trailing pop-up trailers are all welcome and serviced here. The RV sites have full hookups for water and electric, and many of the sites have wireless Internet, too. The campground is family friendly and offers all kinds of activities for kids and parents, including arts and crafts, weekly face-painting sessions and clowns. Families are encouraged to walk the nature trails throughout the park and make a visit to the well-stocked fish pond.

KOA Michigan Family Campground
This KOA (Kampground of America, a nationally recognized campground facility) is located in the heart of Petersburg. The family atmosphere is perfect for young families. The campground has facilities for campers of all skill levels: RV sites, tent sites, "Kamper Kabins" and camping tree houses. Campers will enjoy the two lakes on the premises, both of which have beaches and swimming areas. There is also a fishing pond for parents. You can also plan a guided hiking trip through the local forests with one of the camp directors.

Totem Pole Park
Totem Pole Park, also located in Petersburg, is another family friendly campground. The site includes sites for tent campers and RV campers, most of which are pull-through capable. If you have an RV, the site has full hookups for electricity, water and sewer. The site also has cabins for those seeking a little more comfort. A trip to Totem Pole Park, which is located in Monroe County and includes a guided trip on Lake Erie, is just a short drive away.
