Westbank, BC RV Campgrounds
Westbank is a city in British Columbia, Canada, bordered by mountains and beautiful Lake Okanagan. Westbank is a popular spot for those that enjoy the outdoors. The area offers such activities as boating, canoeing and windsurfing. You'll find a number of RV parks and campgrounds with RV hookups dotted around Westbank.

Lighthouse RV Park

The Lighthouse RV Park is located just off of the Old Kanagan Highway in Westbank. The RV park has 40 sites, some of which are set up for extended stays. All 40 sites have full hookups with 15/30/50 amps electricity. In addition there are nine pull-throughs, a dump station and laundry facilities. The park is open year-round, and pets are welcome at the RV park, but visitors should be aware that the park does have breed restrictions in place. Other amenities at the park include picnic tables and firewood. The Lighthouse RV Park is just a 5-minute drive from Shannon Lake Regional Park. The park has a nice trail system for hikers and makes an excellent spot for picnics.

Waterslide Campground

Waterslide Campground is another popular campgrounds located along the Old Kanagan Highway. The campgrounds have 85 sites in total, some of which are set up for extended stays. Of the 85 sites, 35 sites have full hookups, 19 have water and electricity, and 31 have no hookups. Electricity hookups are offered at 15 and 30 amps. Other facilities include hot showers, a dump station and laundry facilities. The campgrounds are open from May 1 through Sept. 30. Pets are welcome at Waterslide Campgrounds but must be kept on a leash. Amenities include a convenience store, playground and sports field. As with the Lighthouse RV Park, Waterslide Campground is less than a 5-minute drive from beautiful Shannon Lake.

West Bay Beach Resort

West Bay Beach Resort is located along the shores of the Okanagan Lake in Westbank. West Bay has 72 sites in total. Sixty-two sites have full hookups and the other 10 have just water and electricity. Electricity hookups are offered at 15 and 30 amps. Other facilities at West Bay include laundry facilities, a grocery store and picnic tables. West Bay Beach Resort is open from April 15 to Oct. 15. Pets are welcome at West Bay except during the busy months of July and August. The resort is located next to 400 feet of beach. Activities around Okanagan Lake include swimming, boating and paddling. Lake fishing also is available.
