RV Parks in Thermopolis, Wyoming

Thermopolis is located in northwest Wyoming and is north of Lander on the east side of the Wind River Range. Visitors planning to access the east side of Yellowstone National Park from the south pass through Thermopolis on the way to Cody, Wyoming. Thermopolis is the site of the world's largest mineral hot spring and gives access to Hot Springs State Park. Wind River Canyon, just to the south, has whitewater rafting, and there is trout fishing on the Big Horn River. Thermopolis has several RV parks for visitors.

Eagle RV Park

Eagle RV Park has 32 RV sites with pull-through access for large rigs. The sites are all shaded. Full hookups with 30- and 50-amp electric, sewer, water and cable TV are provided. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the grounds. Pets are welcome, and there is a pet-walking area. Guests have access to showers, bathrooms and laundry facilities. Recreation possibilities include a playground, recreation room with pool table, basketball court and badminton area. A general store is on site that sells propane, groceries, ice and camping supplies. Eagle RV is open April 1-Oct. 31.

Fountain of Youth RV Park

Fountain of Youth RV Park has 60 RV sites with pull-through access for big rigs and shade trees over the concrete pads. Full hookups with 20-, 30- and 50-amp electric, sewer and water are available. Each site has grills and picnic tables. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the grounds. Showers, laundry and bathrooms are available. The site has its own large hot springs mineral pool and a playground. Pets are allowed.

Wyoming Gardens RV Park

Wyoming Gardens RV Park is a small park with 10 RV sites that is open year-round, though winter stays need to be prearranged by reservation. Sites are shaded, and full hookups with 30-amp electric, water, sewer and cable TV are provided. A laundry facility and general store are close to the park in town. There are no showers, bathrooms or Wi-Fi access. Pets are allowed.
