Sebastian Inlet State Park
Sebastian Inlet State Park is located in both Indian River County and Brevard County. The park is located on both the Atlantic Ocean and Indian River Lagoon, offering superb opportunities for fishing, boating and enjoying various water sports. The campground offers 51 campsites located on the river that include water, electricity, fire ring and picnic table, with maximum RV length at 40 feet. The park has a dump station, two museums, two jetties, four boat ramps, a bait store, snack bar and gift shop. There are picnic tables located throughout the park, as well as bathrooms and showers. Hikers will enjoy the one-mile Hammock Trail. There are four bike trails, including a paved, 40-mile trail that runs along A1A. Swimming, fishing, scuba diving, surfing are enjoyed in the Atlantic Ocean, or Indian River Lagoon.

St. Sebastian River Preserve State Park
St. Sebastian River Preserve State Park encompasses 22,000 acres of pine flatwoods and various ponds located throughout it. The San Sebastian River and C-54 Canal, where boating, canoeing and fishing opportunities are plentiful, line the park. The six lushly wooded campsites within the park are primitive and are hike-in only. There is a portable toilet facility, picnic tables, pavilion and visitors center at the park. Campers will be required to port in their own water and other supplies. The various ponds located throughout the preserve offer fishing and canoeists and boaters can launch at Dale Wimbrow Park, located approximately two miles from the park. The park offers 40 miles of hiking/biking trails and great wildlife and bird watching opportunities as the park belongs to the Great Florida Birding Trail. The Atlantic Ocean and Indian River are approximately 15 miles from the park.

The Donald MacDonald Campground
Operated by the county, The Donald MacDonald Campground offers lush, tropical campsites. The park has 24 primitive sites, with only one having electricity. All sites are shaded, private and include fire rings, grills and picnic tables. The park has restrooms with showers, playground, observation boardwalk and nature trails. Anglers and boaters will appreciate the campground's boat ramp where they can launch into the San Sebastian River that leads into the Indian River Lagoon and Sebastian Inlet and then into the Atlantic Ocean. The St. Sebastian River Preserve State Park lines the opposite bank from the campground and the Sebastian Inlet State Park and Atlantic Ocean are located approximately 15 miles from the park.
