Campgrounds Near Evart, Michigan
Evart is a small community located in the central lower peninsula of Michigan. Campers will find Evart and its surrounding area full of recreational activities, which include fishing on the Muskegon River and hiking on the Pere-Marquette Rails-to-Trails paved hiking trail as well many small area lakes to fish.

River Country Campground

River Country Campground is located 2 miles northeast of Evart between Wolfe Creek and the Muskegon River. It offers over 100 spacious grass camp sites that include electric, picnic table and fire ring. Site locations vary and include private wooded sites, riverfront sites and creekfront sites. Facility amenities include a large gathering pavilion, modern restrooms and private showers along with laundry room and dump station. River Country Campground's recreational opportunities include an arcade, playground and mini-golf course. Guests can rent a canoe or tube to use on the Muskegon River, with pickup at destination included.

Blodgett Landing Park & Campground

Blodgett Landing Park & Campground sits 11 miles west of Evart in Hersey, Michigan. It offers seven full-hookup sites and 19 partial-hookup sites that don't include a sewer hookup. Sites are on the edge of a wooded area and include a picnic table and fire ring. Amenities include a modern restroom building, private showers and gathering pavilion as well as playground and basketball court. The campground borders the Muskegon and Hersey rivers, which offer quality fishing opportunities. There is also access to the Pere-Marquette Rails-to-Trails hiking trail which is a 30-mile, paved multi-use trail.

Tubb's Lake Resort

Tubb's Lake Resort is 20 miles south of Evart in Mecosta on Tubbs Lake, which is part of the Martiny Lake Chain. It offers 90 sites that all include a fire pit and picnic table, and 84 are full-hookup sites. Amenities include modern restrooms, private showers and camp store as well as a full-service marina. There is a boat launch at the marina as well as several piers for docking your boat. Tubb's Lake and the connecting lakes in the chain are known for their quality bluegill and bass fishing.
