Highlands Hammock State Park
Highlands Hammock State Park is located 6 miles west of town and offers campers a wooded setting filled with an abundance of wildlife. The park has 143 campsites that include water, electric, fire ring and picnic tables. Some sites are private and situated away from RVs. Maximum RV length is 50 feet. There is a group/youth camping area at the park. The park has a playground, restroom, showers, dump station, CCC museum, bike rentals, picnic area, restaurant and camping store. Pets are allowed. There is a 3-mile paved hiking, biking or driving loop through the park. Nine hiking trails, including a boardwalk through a cypress swamp, offer visitors a chance to walk through diverse plant communities and view alligators. Boaters and anglers are approximately 6 miles from Lake Jackson, where they can launch and fish for bass.

Sebring Grove Campground
Located just north of town is Sebring Grove Campground. The campground is a favorite outdoor spot for the locals. There are 114 sites, which offer water, electric, fire ring and picnic table. Sites are wooded or sunny. The campground has showers, restrooms and picnic area. The campground is 6 miles from Lake Istokpoga, where anglers and boaters can use the boat ramp and pier. Canoeists can canoe the 21 miles from the lake down Arbuckle Creek into Lake Arbuckle, which is in the Lake Arbuckle State Forest, offering fishing and hiking opportunities. Lake Jackson is approximately 3 miles from the campground.

Bonnet Lake Campground
The Bonnet Lake Campground is located directly on Bonnet Lake and is approximately 10 miles north of Sebring. Though mainly used by RVs, the park allows tent camping. The sites offer water, electricity and free Wi-Fi, as well as pull-through sites, with some situated on the lake and canal. The park has a picnic area, bathrooms, showers, heated pool, shuffleboard, horseshoes, laundry facility and recreation hall. Anglers and boaters will appreciate the campground's boat ramp and fishing pier on Bonnet Lake. Lake Arbuckle State Forest, which contains hiking trails around the lake and throughout the forest, is approximately 7 miles from the campground. Canoeists can paddle the area's various streams and creeks or Lake Arbuckle. The Venus Flatwoods Preserve in Lake Placid offers great opportunities for bird watching and hiking and is approximately 5 miles from the campground.
