Lansing Cottonwood Campground

Lansing Cottonwood Campground is located just outside the town of Mason, MI. This site is available to campers of all varieties--RVers, tenters, and those with pop-up campers. The campgrounds 141 sites offer some with hook-ups (for RVs), some with lakeshore access, and some totally primitive sites with the ground and a fire pit. The campground also has a camp store, a laundry room, and a recreational room for private parties and social events. If you're looking to get away from civilization, you can rent a boat and get out on the lake to fish, or take a short drive over to Rayner Park where hiking trails abound.

PJ Family Campground

PJ Family Campground is located in Stockbridge, just outside of Mason, Michigan. This site is totally equipped for primitive campers and campers with vehicles (RVs and pop-ups). In addition to the many amenities--onsite fishing and paddling, golf nearby--the campground is close to a variety of local trails and parks. Cambridge State Historic Park and Batteese Lake Park are just two options for those looking to get more rustic.

Heartland Woods RV

Heartland Woods RV, also located just outside the town limits of Mason, MI, caters to RV travelers, but will host tenters as well. The site includes: cabin rentals, tent pads, RV sites with full electric, water, and sewer hook-ups, a playground for kids, basketball and volleyball courts, and coin-operated laundry. You need look no further than the limits of the RV park to find isolation in the woods. The campground has several miles of nature walks and hiking trails--both around the ponds and into the woods.
