Shores of Leech Lake is found, of course, along the shore of Leech Lake. This family-owned and family-run campground caters to RVers, campers, and yachters. This site offers a unique inland harbor that can be enjoyed both if you have a boat or not. Amenities include a gym, a wide, expansive lodge, and seasonal camp sites along the inland marina. The site is literally surrounded by dense forest--hikers need only walk off their camp sites to access the many trails and nature paths leading to the shore's edge or deeper into the woods.

Anderson's Cove

Anderson's Cove, situated on Steamboat Bay in Leech Lake, is a 22-acre resort that offers lodging and tent space to all campers. The campground is quiet and has ample angling opportunities. Amenities include: large heated pool, kiddy pool and a large lodge with a snack bar. For outdoor nuts, the campground is located directly on the Heartland State Trail. Additionally, there are bike paths--both paved and unpaved through the woods.
