The Blue Ridge Mountains and Great Smoky Mountains are some of the alluring features of western North Carolina. Located in the Nantahala National Forest, this RV park is in the mountains and the Smoky Mountain National Park is within a short drive. It is open year-round and has tent and RV sites with room for 45-foot RVs. The location is ideal for outdoor recreation in the North Carolina mountains and visits to Smoky Mountain National Park. Bear Creek RV Park

Located in Asheville, this park is close to the mountains and city conveniences. The park is within minutes of Grandfather Mountain, the Harrah's Cherokee Casino, Linville Caverns and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is also within a short drive of several golf courses, rafting rivers and fishing streams and lakes. In the park you will find laundry facilities, bathrooms, showers, a game room, heated pool and a clubhouse. RV sites have hookups for water, sewer and 30- and 50-amp electric.

Grandfather Campground

Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this campground is within minutes of Grandfather Mountain, the Hawksnest Golf Course, hiking trails and biking trails. The park has more than 100 acres with a camp store, laundry facilities, playground, bathrooms, picnic tables, hiking trails, fishing in the Watauga River and a stocked trout pond and scenic views.
