Formerly the El Jarro Cafe, this inexpensive restaurant is inviting and comfortable with its wooden furnishings and candle lighting. El Coyote Mexican Restaurant

El Coyote is a local favorite in the Jamaica Queens neighborhood. This restaurant has been referred to as "a little treasure" by Zagat and has a cozy atmosphere with a colorful decor and booth seating. Traditional Mexican libations, such as 35 types of tequila, varieties of margaritas, and sangria, are served here. The average price range is $10, as of January 2010. In addition to traditional Mexican fare, El Coyote offers specialties such as the paella el Coyote, which is a combination of lobster, shrimp, clams, mussels, chorizo, and chicken.
