One of the many towns that dot the Jersey Shore, Sea Isle City offers vacationers a taste of Venice, Italy, without leaving New Jersey. The town's founder, Charles K. Landis, tried to recreate the Venetian canals using the five miles of beaches and the surrounding waters. Water activities include sunset cruises, surfing and deep-sea fishing. Scenic trails for biking, hiking, in-line skating and walking, plus campgrounds, afford enthusiasts vast opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors.

Busch's Seafood Restaurant

Since 1882, Busch's Seafood Restaurant in Sea Isle City has been providing patrons with tasty cuisine such as its she crab soup, which won the Best of Shore award from South Jersey Magazine in 2007. Repeat winner of the Best Seafood Restaurant award, the venue serves generous portions of fresh local seafood, such as broiled lobster tails and prime cuts of meat, such as Angus steaks for dinner. A children's menu for kids ages 12 years and under comes with entrees such as 5-oz. lobster tails, burgers and 6-oz. broiled filet mignon, plus potato, applesauce, a chocolate parfait and beverage. According to its website, the restaurant is open from Mother's Day through late September.
