Cloudy is an unincorporated community in Oklahoma's Pushmataha County, 167 miles southeast of Tulsa and 204 miles southeast of Oklahoma City. The closest town to Cloudy is Rattan, about 12 miles away. Given its rugged character and the fact that it is largely surrounded by mountains and wilderness, the Cloudy area is popular among hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers. If you are considering renting a cabin in the area, there are several possibilities.

Hickory Hill Cabins

Located in the Kiamichi Mountains, Hickory Hill in Broken Arrow, 37 miles northwest of Cloudy, offers a variety of cabins to visitors in the area. Its cabins are just five minutes away from Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake. Hiking, mountain biking, boating and canoeing opportunities are all in the vicinity.

The cabins vary in size and each comes equipped with luxury amenities like cable television, DVD players, microwaves, dishwashers, hot tubs, central heating and air conditioning, and large decks. Pets are not welcome in most of the cabins and smoking is not permitted.

Mountaineer Cabins

Mountaineer's cabins are situated in the vicinity of Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake, where visitors can enjoy tubing and canoeing, among other activities. Cabin sizes range from studios to five bedrooms.

Amenities include 52-inch TVs with satellite, foosball, pool tables, laundry facilities, covered awning parking, electric fireplaces, wood stoves, charcoal grills, sleeper sofas, dart boards and fish fryers. In addition, many of the cabins are pet friendly.

Beavers Bend Log Cabins

Mountain biking and hiking enthusiasts often stay at Beavers Bend Log Cabins, where you can enjoy views of the surrounding mountains. Each log cabin is set on private property of between two and four acres, offering guests privacy.

Cabins come with private fishing ponds, high-speed Internet access, laundry facilities, central heating and air conditioning, fully equipped kitchens, wood-burning fireplaces, hot tubs that can hold up to five people, cable television, DVD players and charcoal grills. In addition, each cabin features a large deck.

Canoe and kayak rentals are available within walking distance of your cabin. It is also possible to enjoy scuba diving in the nearby lake.
