Sandra Rice and Noodles
This restaurant was the result of a brother and sister's long-anticipated reunion in the U.S. This brother and sister had been separated since the upheaval in Saigon, in 1975. Using old family recipes, the siblings recreated dishes that reminded them of home. The restaurant itself has a spotless interior, and is tastefully decorated. Their specialties include traditional Vietnamese rice dishes like crispy chicken ga chien don, which is fried chicken leg served with tomatoes, cucumbers and fried rice. The Vietnamese basa (a pan-fried fish) also is highly recommended. There are also low carb and low fat options. Takeout is available.
