Paul B. Johnson State Park
Paul B. Johnson State Park is located in the De Soto National Forest approximately 15 miles from Hattiesburg. The campground offers 150 campsites, with 125 sites offering water, electric and sewer. The RV area has a private beach and swimming area. There are 25 private tent sites located on the shores of 300-acre Lake Geiger. Both camping areas are in a hammock of pine and old oak trees. The park has a playground, swimming area, bathrooms, showers and laundry facility. Anglers and boaters will appreciate the park's boat ramp into Lake Geiger, where bass and crappie are abundant. Hikers can stroll along the "Trail of Southern Pines" located in the park and view the area's many species of wildlife. The Okatoma River is located approximately 21 miles north, were canoeists can rent kayaks or rafts and experience the river's whitewaters.

Cypress Hill Resort
Cypress Hill Resort is located approximately 17 miles south of Hattiesburg in the De Soto National Forest The resort has campsites offering water, 30- and 50-amp service and sewer, with some being able to accommodate large rigs and pull-throughs. Sites include free Wi-Fi, picnic tables and fire rings. Sites are available by the day, week or month and the resort offers cabin rentals as well. There is a general store, saltwater pool, bathhouse, laundry facility and propane sales at the campground. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy viewing wildlife in the national forest, and hikers are approximately 9 miles away from the 41-mile long Black Creek Hiking Trail. Canoeists are approximately 1 mile from Black Creek, located in the Black Creek Wilderness Area.

Okatoma Resort & RV Park
Okatoma Resort & RV Park is located approximately 6miles southwest of Hattiesburg and situated on 80 acres of a wooded hilltop. The park has 65 sites offering electric, water and sewer, as well as picnic tables and fire rings. There are sites accommodating large rigs and pull-throughs. Primitive campsites also are available. The campground has a pool and mini-golf course. There are several nature trails located within the park, where guests can view wildlife. Anglers can fish from one of the five stocked lakes, and the park has a fishing pier. Whitewater enthusiasts are only 1 mile from the Okatoma River, offering the only whitewater rapids in the state. The De Soto National Forest is approximately 6 miles east of the campground.
