Orangewood Shadows is a five-star, award-winning RV resort for seniors aged 55 and older. The community embraces the tropical temperatures--there are more than 800 citrus trees, and residents are encouraged to pick fruits at will. The site itself has 474 RV sites all equipped with full hookups. The resort also includes a large clubhouse where various social events take place, a library, arts and crafts and wireless Internet. The resort offers weekly hiking excursions and twice-weekly biking trips for the outdoor-inclined residents.

This massive retirement complex situated right in Mesa has more than 1,800 RV sites for seniors 55 and older. Seniors must have an RV to stay--no tenting is allowed at this resort. Amenities include: full hookups, a fitness center, heated pool and spa, outdoor recreation facility and potlucks and breakfast meetings. Seniors are encouraged to participate in several social functions, as well as join in on walking and biking trips through the Mesa area. Travel tours and excursions can be arranged through the management office.
