Located approximately 25 miles southwest of Daytona and 35 miles northeast of Orlando, Orange City was named for the thousands of acres of orange groves planted in and around the community, which was incorporated in 1882. The area is a popular destination for tourists as the town has a number of sites on the National Register of Historic Places and is home to Blue Springs State Park. When traveling by RV to Orange City, you will find several RV parks to choose from for your visit.

Clark Family Campground

Located just two miles from Interstate 4, Clark Family Campground has over 130 sites with 20-, 30- or 50-amp full hookups and Wi-Fi access. It features restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, a swimming pool, game room and playground. A catch-and-release fishing pond is on-site. Tent sites are also available. The campground is located a short distance from Hontoon Island State Park, which is on an island in the St. Johns River and accessible only by private boat or park ferry. Visitors can see evidence of the Timucuan Indians, the first inhabitants of Hontoon Island, by the shell mounds that still exist. Hiking, boating, canoeing, and fishing are popular activities, and canoe rentals are available.

Blue Springs State Park

Blue Springs State Park is the site of the largest spring along the St. Johns River and a designated Manatee Refuge. The spring´s clear, 73-degree water makes this a popular destination for fishing, canoeing, boating, swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Wildlife viewing and hiking along the boardwalk and interpretive trail are also popular activities. The on-site Sand Pine Scrub campground has 51 sites with water, electricity, a picnic table and a grill. It can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet, has a dump station and is located within easy walking distance of the river and spring run. Tent sites are also available.

Orange City RV Resort

Orange City RV Resort is situated within a mile Interstate 4 and has over 500 sites with 30- or 50-amp full hookups. It has extended-stay park model homes and sites for RVers traveling through. It features restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, a large swimming pool, kiddie pool and Jacuzzi and a miniature golf course. The park provides cable TV and Wi-Fi access, and it welcomes pets. Visitors can enjoy local golf courses or take a short drive to Dupont Lakes Park for shoreline fishing, basketball courts and softball fields.
