Lenawee County, Michigan Campgrounds
Lenawee County is located in the southeast corner of Michigan less then an hour drive from Toledo and Detroit. The county is very rural and has a variety of campgrounds that are away from the cities and offer privacy and quiet. There are many recreational opportunities in the area including muskie fishing in Lake Hudson and hiking at Ramsdell Park in Clayton.

Lake Hudson Recreation Area

Lake Hudson Recreation Area is located in central Lenawee County and is a 2,796-acre park that includes Lake Hudson. It offers 50 camp sites which include electric, a picnic table and fire ring, along with several vault toilets spread around the park. The lots are very large in size and include a forest buffer between sites for privacy as well as water filling station and dump area for RV's. Guests will find some sites that are on Lake Hudson with access to fishing as well as sites on the edge of natural grassland. There is a large beach area for guests on Lake Hudson that includes a sand beach, picnic table and charcoal grills. Anglers will find a boat launch for Lake Hudson which is one of Michigan's premier muskie fishing lakes as well several areas for bank fishing.

Camp Sequoia

Camp Sequoia is set on 100 park-like acres just five miles northeast of Adrian, Michigan. It offers 100 RV sites that include electric, water and a picnic table along with a fire ring. Facility amenities include modern restrooms, private shower and dining hall with professional kitchen. There is also a camp store, log cabin wedding chapel and outdoor swimming area with sun deck. Camp Sequoia is on a small lake where guests can fish and boats are available to rent as well. Recreational opportunities include a playground, horse shoes and volleyball along with hiking trails that run throughout the surround forest.

Green Valley Campground

Green Valley Campground is located a half mile outside of Morenci on 80 acres. It offers 300 camp sites with varying amenities with all including electric, a picnic table and fire ring and water on select sites. Facility amenities include a large clubhouse, large pavilion for reunions and modern restrooms with private showers. There is a camp store onsite, along with golf cart rentals and propane exchange. Green Valley Campground has a large pond with a man-made beach surrounding it where guests can play in the sand as well as swim in the pond. The campground has several special events throughout the year including flea markets, Halloween and Fourth of July party.
