RV Parks in Clear Lake, CA

Clear Lake State Park is a popular recreation area on the shores of the largest freshwater lake in California, and is bordered by Mendocino National Forest on its northern side and the town of Clear Lake on its southern side. Clear Lake is located northwest of Sacramento. Popular recreation activities include swimming, fishing, boating, and hiking. Camping possibilities surround the lake.

Edgewater Resort and RV Park

Edgewater Resort and RV Park is located on the southern shore of Clear Lake at the midway point of the lake. The resort offers 61 shaded RV sites with full hookups, including 50 amp electric, water, sewer, and 65-channel cable TV. All sites have picnic tables, and some come with a fire pit. Showers, bathrooms, and laundry facilities are onsite, and free Wi-Fi is available. A lakeview clubhouse has a pool table, color TV, and stereo system, and an outdoor swimming pool is open from May to September. Pets are welcome, but should be kept leashed.

Clear Lake State Park

Clear Lake State Park is on the southern shore of Clear Lake and has 147 sites with back-in access. As a state park, the amenities are few, but they did install free Wi-Fi throughout the Park in 2005. Most of the sites are shaded, have picnic tables and fire rings, and can accommodate rigs up to 35 feet in length. Showers and bathrooms are located on the grounds, as is a dump station. Pets are welcome at the campsite, but must be leashed.

Aurora RV Park and Marina

Aurora RV Park and Marina is located at the northern end of the lake. The Park has 60 sites with pull-through access, is right on the water, and has a boat ramp. Full hookups with 50 amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV, and phone are provided, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the site. Showers, bathrooms, and laundry facilities are provided. Guests at Aurora get a $10 video play in the Rancheria Resort and Casino two miles down the road. Pets are welcome.
