RV Parks in White Mountains, Arizona
The White Mountains, on the east side of Arizona bordering New Mexico, are a popular summer destination for residents of Tucson and Phoenix. The White Mountains are in Apache National Forest and have kayaking on the Salt River, fishing on numerous lakes and streams, plenty of hiking and downhill skiing at Sunrise Park. The highest point in the White Mountains is Mount Baldy, which rises to 11,420 feet. Many RV camping spots are available throughout the White Mountains.

Sunrise RV Park

Sunrise RV Park has 20 spaces with 30-amp electric hookups and is at the base of Sunrise Ski Area. No water or sewer hookups are available, and Wi-Fi is not available. Guests can use the showers in Sunrise Lodge. A general store with groceries is across the street from the RV park. Sunrise is open year-round.

Coronado Trail Cabins and RV Park

Coronado Trail Cabins and RV Park is a small RV park in Alpine at an elevation of 8,050 feet in the heart of Apache National Forest. Coronado offers shaded sites in a pine forest, including full hookups with 30- and 50-amp electric, water and sewer. Pets are allowed, but they must be kept leashed at all times, as wildlife can frequently be seen in the area.

Rainbow Campground

Rainbow Campground is a National Forest campground in the Big Lake Recreation Area south of Springerville at an elevation of 9,100 feet. It can accommodate RVs up to 32 feet in length. As a national forest site, it is more primitive and has no hookups. There are 152 sites total, of which 32 have pull-through access. The sites have fire rings, grills and picnic tables, as well as a boat launch to Big Lake. The on-site store sells groceries, unleaded gasoline and rents boats. Flush toilets and showers are located on site, and potable water is available. A dump station is located on the campground. Pets are allowed at Rainbow. The campground is open from mid-May through September.
