Salt Lick Creek Campground
This campground is situated on the shores of Cordell Hull Lake, which is the reservoir of the Cumberland River dam. It is a pet-friendly, public campground with 150 sites that are for RVs and tents. The result is that all sites have water and electrical hook-ups. The campground's features and facilities include a boat ramp, playgrounds, shower house, coin laundry and dump station.

Maple Grove Campground
Maple Grove is primarily an RV campground, but as the campsites are not paved or graveled, they are suitable for tents as well. There are 38 campsites, all with full hook-ups. The lightly wooded campground also offers a swimming pool, volleyball court, playground, coin laundry, pavilion with fireplace, and direct access to Cordell Hull Lake.

Standing Stone State Park
An 11,000-acre state park situated to the east of Gainesboro, Standing Stone offers 36 camp sites. Each comes with a picnic table and barbecue grill. The campground is serviced by a pair of shower houses and a dump station. There is a maximum stay limit of two weeks. Other accommodations at the park include rental cabins. For activities, Standing Stone State Park has an outdoor swimming pool, fishing, boating and eight miles of hiking trails.
