Campgrounds in Muskegeon, Michigan
The town of Muskegon occupies 26 miles of shoreline along Lake Michigan. This beach-town is a popular destination for nearly any type of water-related activity, but also caters to bicycles with the Musketawa Trail. This 25 mile trail stretches across wetlands, creeks and farmlands and is utilized by bikers and Rollerbladers during summer months and cross-country skiers during the winter season.

Pioneer Park

Pioneer Park is a 145-acre county park located on Lake Michigan. Its campground has 235 sites, which all include water and electric hookups. Tents and RVs are welcome and group camping areas are available. Amenities at the campground include restrooms, showers and a dumping station. The park features a white sand beach area with a boardwalk and swimming is permitted in the lake. Visitors to pioneer park will also find a children's playground, baseball diamond, tennis court, basketball court, horseshoe pits and a picnic lodge with a stove, refrigerator and cooking utensils located near the camping area.

Wolf Lake Resort and Campground

Wolf Lake Resort and Campground offers tent sites with and without electricity and RV sites with water, electric and sewer hookups. This campground has restrooms and showers, vending machines, coin-operated laundromat and on-site furnished apartments for those planning an extended vacation. Swimming and fishing are permitted on Wolf Lake and the wooded area surrounding the lake features several hiking trails. If you don't manage to catch a glimpse of the local wildlife during your hike, you can visit the campground's petting zoo where deer, buffalo, rabbits, chickens and peacocks can be found.

Lake Sch-Nepp-A-Ho Family Campground

The Lake Sch-Nepp-A-Ho Family Campground has 100 campsites located in wooded areas or along the Lake Sch-Nepp-A-Ho shoreline. Lake sites are reserved for RVs and feature water and electric hookups. Rustic sites with no hookups and sites with electric only are available for tents or RVs. One room cabins with electricity and air conditioning are available for daily or weekly rentals. Guests will need to provide their own linens, blankets and pillows for use in the cabins. Park amenities include a bath house with flush toilets and hot showers, dumping station, picnic tables, playground, sandy beach area, and a general store selling snacks, toiletries, propane and firewood. Swimming, canoeing and kayaking are permitted on the lake as well as catch and release fishing. Pets are welcome at campsites for an additional fee, but are not permitted in cabins or on the beach area due to health department regulations.
