The Novato RV Park bills itself as "The Best of the City in the Country." The park has sites for most size RVs. Hookups include 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer and options for cable TV. There is Wi-Fi available in the park for guest use and pets are welcome. Bathrooms, showers, laundry room and picnic and common areas are on the grounds for guest use. There is a dog walk area for off-leash play for four-legged visitors. Mount Tamalpais and Point Reyes National Seashore are within a 30-minute drive. Mount Tamalpais claims to be the birthplace of modern mountain biking, and Point Reyes has sea-kayaking and grey-whale watching during the migration.

Olema RV Resort ad Campground

The Olema RV Resort offers visitors to the Novato region an RV park on 30 wooded acres. There are over 65,000 acres of wild-lands surrounding the campground's privately owned land, where guests can bike, hike, and backpack. Tule elk, black-tailed deer, coyotes, mountain lions, bobcats, weasels, badgers, harbor seals, grey whales, California sea lions and elephant seals can be observed from the trails and beaches of the region. The RV park has sites for most size RVs and tent campers. Hookups include the standard 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer, and cable TV. Wi-Fi is available as an option. Showers, bathrooms, and a laundry room are on the grounds. Pets are welcome if leashed.

Samuel P. Taylor State Park

Visitors to the Novato area can choose to stay at any number of state parks in the region. The Samuel P. Taylor State Park offers sites for both RV and tent campers. RV sites have hookups for water and 30- or 50-amp electric. Tent sites are primitive but have access to fresh water for cooking and drinking. All guests have use of the showers and bathrooms, picnic sites and barbecues. The park has nature trails, biking trails, and opportunities for bird-watching. Visitors can hike the trail to Mount Barnabe within the park. Pets are welcome but must be leashed at all times.
