The Appalachian Mountains in the Tennessee region is a subdivision of the Great Smokey Mountains. The Appalachian Mountains as a whole is an entire mountain division with a massive range from Canada into the Southern United States. In the Tennessee area, there are numerous cabin rentals within the mountains, which are secluded for a romantic hide-away or a family vacation.

Dogwood Cabins at Trillium Cove

The Dogwood Cabins at Trillium Cove is located in the Great Smokey Mountain area of the Appalachians in Townsend, Tennessee. Surrounding the cabins are streams and waterfalls along with the mountain range. All the cabins come fully equipped with hot tubs and Jacuzzis, fireplaces, washer, dryer, phone, color TV, linens and towels. The kitchens are fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, cookware and tableware. The Dogwood Cabins offer one to eight bedrooms to accommodate large and small groups and offer honeymoon or anniversary specials. The area surrounding the cabins offers three miles of biking, walking and hiking trails. Tee off at the Laurel Valley Golf Course just three miles from the cabins.

MountainLake Wilderness Resort

The MountainLake Wilderness Resort is located in a secluded area of the Appalachian Mountains near the tip of Northeastern Tennessee in Butler. The cabins can sleep two to 20 people comfortably; so large groups are not a problem and are easily accommodated. All cabins come standard with private porches, rockers, picnic tables and charcoal grills. Inside amenities include fully-functional kitchens with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, eating utensils and laundry room. Additionally, satellite TV is provided, as well as gas fireplaces and private phones. Around the cabins are opportunities for hiking and walking along the Wilderness Trail, Tenderfoot Trails, Hillbilly Run and Moonshine Ridge.

The Preserve Resort

The Preserve Resort is located in the Great Smokey Mountain area of the Appalachian Mountains in Silverville, Tennessee. The cabins range from one to 12 bedrooms and can accommodate four to 40 adults comfortably. The cabins offer luxury amenities including hot tub, Jacuzzi, fireplace and game room. Every cabin offers cable TV, central heating and air conditioning, high-speed Internet access, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, telephone, microwave, cookware, linens and towels. The cabins are less than a mile from the entrance to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park where there are hiking and walking trails. Around the cabins are more opportunities for fishing and biking.
