Mount Nebo State Park
Approximately six miles from Russellville is Mount Nebo State Park housing the 1,850-foot Mount Nebo. The campground offers 20 Class B sites that include water, 30-amp electrical service and a view of the woods. Four Class B sites with water, 30-amp electrical service and mountain views and 10 Class D sites that are hike-in with mountain views. There are cabins available. The park is one of two within the state's park system that offers a hang-gliding launch site. There is no dump station within the park. The park offers bathrooms, showers, tennis courts and pavilions. A pool, picnic area and playground also exist. Guests can rent bikes and either hike or bike the park's 14 miles of mountainous trails. Wildlife viewing opportunities are abundant in the park. The Ozark National Forest is approximately 10 miles away, offering more opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

Hillbilly Haven RV Park
Hillbilly Haven RV Park is a small, quiet park with only basic amenities that is located approximately seven miles north of Russellville. The park offers 10 full hook-up sites in a rustic, country setting. Sites are large and open, accommodating even the largest rigs and pull-throughs. Open all year, the park accepts pets, has a laundry facility and picnic tables. Lake Dardanelle and Lake Dardanelle State Park are approximately eight miles away and the Ozark National Forest is 10 miles from the park.

Lake Dardanelle State Park
Approximately three miles from the city of Russellville, is Lake Dardanelle State Park. Anglers come to bass fish in the 34,300-acre lake, which is a reservoir on the Arkansas River. The park offers two campgrounds, one in the northern region and another in its southern region. There are 16 Class AAA sites with water and 50-amp electrical service, 14 Class AA sites with water and 30-amp electrical service, 26 Class B sites with water and 30-amp electrical service and 18 Class B sites on the Dardanelle side with water and 30-amp electrical service. Visitors have forest or lake view sites to choose from. The park offers a picnic area, pavilions, visitor center with four aquariums, restrooms and showers. Boaters and anglers can use the park's boat launch and fishing pier; kayaks can be rented at the park. The visitor center rents bikes. There are hiking and biking trails throughout the park. Lake Dardanelle State Park is located approximately 10 miles from the Ozark National Forest, which offers miles of hiking and biking trails.
