William Mitchell State Park
William Mitchell State Park is a 334-acre park located between Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac just 2 miles west of downtown Cadillac. It offers 221 camp sites that include an electric hookup, picnic table and fire ring along with modern restrooms nearby. Facility amenities include a playground, volleyball court and visitor's center. There is a 2.5 mile hiking trail that runs throughout the park where guests can view wildlife. Visitors can also enjoy fishing and boating in both lakes with a boat launch and fishing piers on site as well as a canal that connects the lakes located in the park

Camp Cadillac
Camp Cadillac is located 2 miles northeast of downtown Cadillac on a large wooded tract of land. It offers large shaded camp sites that include full hookups, a fire pit and picnic table. Facility amenities include modern bathrooms, private showers and clubhouse for gatherings along with a camp store, swimming pool and game room. There is a small pond on site where guests can fish for panfish and largemouth bass. Visitors also have access to miles of hiking trails that run throughout the forest that surrounds the campground. Camp Cadillac is a family oriented campground with many events during the year, which include trick or treating, scavenger hunts and family Olympics.

Birchwood Resort & Campground
Birchwood Resort & Campground is locates 2.5 miles west of downtown Cadillac and across the road from Lake Cadillac. It offers two motel rooms, six cabins and 33 camp sites. Camp sites include full hookups, cable TV and a fire pit along with a picnic table. Recreational facilities include a playground for children and a basketball court. The campground has docks located on Lake Cadillac for guests to fish from or dock their boat as well as a small swimming area and beach. Guests have access to the Lake Cadillac bike and hiking trail that runs in front of the resort and is 7 miles in length.
