Surrounded by the Black Hills and Badlands, Custer, South Dakota, offers outdoor enthusiasts a plethora of activities and outdoor sports. There are opportunities for rock-climbing and bouldering, canoeing and kayaking, hiking and backpacking and both road and mountain biking in the Custer area. Custer's Gulch RV Park

Custer's Gulch RV Park offers RV travelers a campground with a range of amenities and services. Large RVs can be accommodated. Sites come with either 20-, 30- 50-amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Many sites abut the national forest and are surrounded by large pine trees. Pets are welcome. There are private toilets, picnic areas, hot showers, barbecue stations and a laundry facility for guest use. Hiking and mountain biking can be found at the Chief White Crane Recreation area about 20 minutes from the campground.

Custer/ Mount Rushmore State Park

Guests staying at the Custer/Mount Rushmore State Park will have quick access to the Black Hills National Forest and Mount Rushmore. The KOA offers RV sites for rigs of most sizes.
