RV Campgrounds in Buffalo, Wyoming
Located in north central Wyoming, Buffalo is below the Bighorn Mountains. The downtown area is home to historic buildings. The Jim Gatchell Museum displays pioneer items and Native American artifacts. Buffalo is a stop on the 64-mile Cloud Peak Skyway, which leads to Yellowstone National Park and Mount Rushmore. The area also has biking, hiking, snowmobiling, rafting, fishing, boating, snowboarding and skiing.

Big Horn Mountains Campground

The park has tent sites and pull-thru RV sites with hookups for water, sewer and 20-, 30- and 50-amp electric. The 57 RV sites have options for dry camping. The park is in the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains and within minutes of the Clear Creek Trail System and the Cloud Peak Skyway.

Twin Creeks Campground

The park has sites large enough to accommodate RVs towing cars and boats. The park has a convenience store, showers, laundry facilities, covered pavilion with kitchen, playground, swimming pool and spa. It also is pet-friendly with a fenced pet-walking area. Sites have 50-amp electric and hookups for water and sewer. Deluxe sites include patios and fenced yards.

Indian Campground and RV Park

Midway between Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park, the park has shaded sites with access to cable television, wireless Internet, laundry facilities, showers, bathrooms, a swimming pool and grocery store. Pull-thru sites can accommodate RVs up to 75 feet. Sites have hookups for water, sewer and 50-amp electric. The park is close to shopping and dining, and a convenient base for recreational activities in the Big Horn Mountains.
