Cherry Hill Park
This pet-friendly RV park is the closest to the urban attractions of Washington, D.C., being the only metro-area RV-friendly campground that is inside the Beltway. From an outdoors point of view, however, it is the least conveniently-placed of the area RV parks, although the expansive Greenbelt Park is just a few miles away. The park offers 400 sites with full hookups (30- or 50-amp electric). The park's facilities include shower houses, a coin laundry, Cable TV connections, free WiFi access and a camp store with propane and firewood sales. Other features include miniature golf, TV lounge, game room, playground, hot tub and sauna.

Capitol KOA
The Capitol KOA is situated about mid-way between Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington, offering good access to all three cities. That also places it about 15 mile from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and the surrounding beachfront parks and marinas. Like most KOAs, this campground offers a mix of RV and tent sites, as well as rental cabins. The RV sites handle rigs up to 70 feet long and have full hookups with up to 50-amp electric. The features and facilities include free WiFi access, shuttle service to all three of the neighboring cities, outdoor swimming pool, camp store, playground, game room, basketball courts and horseshoes pits. The Capitol KOA also holds outdoor cinema events.

Duncan's Family Campground
Duncan's is about 20 miles outside of DC, situated between the city and such Chesapeake Bay sites as Felicity Cove and Herring Bay. The Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary and Patuxent River Park are just two miles to the south. This wooded campground offers a mix of RV and tent-camping sites. The RV sites have full hookups, and free WiFi access and Cable TV are availalbe. The campground also has a dump station, a camp store with propane and firewood sales, coin laundry, shower house, dog park, swimming pool, two playgrounds and courts for basketball, volleyball and horseshoes.
