Old Stone Fort
Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park covers 876 acres and features a 2,000-year-old Native American ceremonial site. A scenic, 1.25-mile trail is located around the perimeter of the site and an additional 2 miles of trails can be found in the park. Fishing and canoeing are permitted on the 1-mile long lake within the park, although swimming is not. The campground features 51 heavily wooded campsites with hard surface parking areas that can accommodate RVs up to 50 feet long and includes water and electric hookups. Tents and pop-ups are also welcome, and each site features a charcoal grill and a picnic table. This campground also has showers and a dumping station.

Manchester KOA
The campground's 40 RV sites can accommodate rigs up to 75 feet long and include full hookups of water, electric, sewer and cable TV. The campground also has 14 landscaped tent sites and eight cabins available for rent. Free wireless Internet is available throughout the campground. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, hot tub, showers, exercise room, fishing pond, coffee shop and a pet playground. Firewood, snacks and toiletries can be purchased at the on-site camp store, and daily newspapers are provided free of charge. The wooded area surrounding the campground has several nature trails, caves and waterfalls within walking distance.

Tims Ford State Park
Tims Ford State Park is found approximately 18 miles outside of Manchester via a 30-minute winding drive through rolling hills and Tims Ford Lake. Camping at the park consists of 52 campsites with water and electric suitable for tents or RVs up to 35 feet long. The campground features showers, laundry facilities, children's playground and dump station. Visitors to the park will find more than 5 miles of paved trails for hiking or mountain biking. The park also has a large lakeside picnic area with 50 tables and charcoal grills as well as two sheltered picnic areas. Guests of the campground will receive half-price admission to the park's large indoor pool, which is open Wednesday through Sunday, excluding holidays, as of January 2010.
